Trail begins as a dirt road providing access to local camps and transitions to a multi use single track trail once state land is reached. The state land multi use trail follows the lake shore and provides access to several camp sites before eventually connecting with the Arnold's Rock single track trail that turns away from the lake and climbs in a northerly direction towards the Bug lake Trail.
