This is my prefered uphill route on this side of the park, going down is fun as well but I enjoy going down the rock slide on Root Canal even more.
Thsi trail does gain some elevation but the turns are all fairly easy to climb and there are several short breaks along the way up with a good push at the top section where the road to trail conversion is, with another good kick in the butt the last 25 feet.

Definitely not harder than Root Canal but this should be a black. This trail is filled with tight switchbacks and lots of loose chunder. It's fast and fun though and worth doing. Definitely best when done as a descent but it's also the only reasonable trail (barely) to climb back up towards the campground.

I feel like this should be black. Seems harder than Root Canal.
