Short steep climb to a long, steep, rocky descent from West Side Rd FR90 down to Alamogordo. Traverses the large A on the hillside above Alamogordo. The trail is rough and often changes after each rainy season, expect large baby heads and steep ledges. The trail dose open up to some killer smoother "sidewalk" sections in places. Views are awesome all the way down

Access Info

Top of the trail is reached via Dry Canyon Trail T5573 from West Side Rd FR90. At the top just past the Fire Station the road makes a 90* left turn, just after this is a open lot on the right with a T119 carsonite FS sign. You will be directly under the large "A" on the mountain.
