Trail forms part of old logging skids roads that have overgrown, and been interconnected with minor trails. While this trail can be accessed by a trailhead at Kueng Rd, the direction of travel is more favorable when accessing from the Greenway. Travels through lovely mixed forest, at times a single track and at other times wide enough for two hikers or bikers side by side. Surface varies from packed earth, grass, soft duff, roots, rock, etc. Not groomed, in some spots brushy and in spring/early summer has some areas of mud/water on trail, small streams. One steep hill may need to push bike up in parts if coming from Greenway direction, but from there generally has a nice descent following a ridge until it gets close to John Blueminks
Access Info
From Artwork South on the Greenway, travel approximately 2.1km west. A somewhat brushy trailhead to Dreamcatcher is on right side, with a ribbon in a coniferous tree. There is a Cranbrook Hill Greenway trail on tree opposite the trailhead. In approximately 1km there will be a small conifer tree with ribbon on right side. If accessing from Kueng Rd, the trailhead although unmarked is very visible on west side of Kueng Rd just before Crest Rd. You can join up with A Barrel of Laughs from John Blueminks or another trail that heads north and goes in and out of edge of farmers fields before joining up.
