Located in the Standing Indian Basin, on Forest Service Road 67. At the Backcountry Information Board take the short trail into the Standing Indian Campground. Go left, across the paved bridge and immediately on the left access the trail. Connects to the Appalachain Trail at mile marker 87.4 and 600 feet further to Standing Indian Mountain Summit.
