The USFS has marked this trail Closed and asked riders to please respect the closure. The long term goal is to have this route open to bikes, respecting the closure is the most helpful thing bikers can do right now.

Mountain bikers and trail users can also request that Eagle County Open Space look into purchasing a parcel of land from the Colorado State Land Trust so this trail can be opened, properly maintained, and enjoyed by all for recreational use.
