Abercrombie Mtn. East access gives you access to an area that delivers you into the wilderness of the Colville National Forest. The trail has traction with good dirt not overly technical but with elevation gains that demand the strongest climber. Single track, rock gardens, intense climbs, back country feel and amazing views. Depending on Winter snow fail amounts snow drift are present into July at the saddle below the last traverse to the last ridge accent.

Access Info

National Forest Road NF-350 off Boundary Rd outside Metaline, WA. Need a high clearance vehicle to make way to Flume Creek Trail #502 trail head. The road is for Forest access and for communication sites so is generally clear of tree fail and passable.
