This is a “no bikes” trail. It has a tall bike filter gate at each end. (A gate shaped like a sharp V that bikes won’t fit through unless you lift it over your head and walk through) this makes it pretty obvious to anyone else on the trail what you’ve done to get through. Plan to go around this trail if you’re on bike. The trail to the north of the river is a good option and crossing at the dam is pretty easy.
