Excellent start from the road onto Addiction, fantastic track upto the summit. Down hill is old school, steep, rutted so hang off your back wheel and hope you choose a good line. I’ll take my hat off to those that can stay on there bike all the way down this one !

Mostly a grade 4 with one or two grade 6 features which can be easily walked. The climb up Jollies Pass Rd isn't too bad.

This track was great fun. Well worth the trip up if you have the legs/motor.
Definitely one of the spiciest tracks in town. If you're happy on the gnarlier bits of Nelson then this is the trail you're looking for.
Not for the timid. Really steep, tight droppy corners, but built so well nothing is sketchy.

No push/carry at the top anymore, nice benched climbing track to the top. All nicely signposted too.

I got dropped at top of road/ start of track but warning, the roads in bad shape and 4wd recommended.
I got off trail near the bottom after milling of trees makes track hard to follow. Check the app as you go to ensure you connect with your next trail.
Great ride but it would be great if there were some more direction markers so checking the app doesn't ruin the flow. Thanks Hamner!

Great trail, the fitter you are the more fun you’ll have. Some nice little pinch climbs pop up to keep you working for it. My first time riding in Hanmer so I was stoked.

Found it today on second attempt, all credit to the trackbuilders. Classy, consistent hang yr bum over t rear wheel stuff for 2km. Couple of workings-bees and a connection into top of detox and this is Hanmer’s best ride (hint; get someone to drop you @top of Jollies) rode Bigfoot and detox after and they were dull! thanks Steve+Simon?

Got dropped off Jolly's Pass end and defintley a full on walk/push of the bike to get to the top. Whoever cut some stairs I to the right hand side of a steep scree bank, you are a legend. The downhill is pretty full on and I was on the brakes 99% of the time. I'm not a fantastic rider but managed it. The app works well to let you know how you're getting on along the trail and nice to know where you are considering it's back country. At some point near the end the trail splits left or right. I went left and ended up with some feral drops that were beyond my ability and then came out on the hydro road so missed the downhill part of Detox unfortunately. Keep an eye out near the top for the white plastic bag on the bush, go left when you see it. If I hadn't read the trail report for this track I wouldn't have known to turn then. Need good fitness for the climb to the top.

Certainly a double black climb (push) and nice and steep but not super tech back down.
