This gravel pad parallels the Trans-Alaska Pipeline. The trail is not technically difficult, but it has some steep ups and downs.

The pad is used for pipeline maintenance, but it is used by many people as a trail. Technically, you are supposed to have a permit to use the pad, but the overseeing group, Alyeska Pipeline Service Company, is very lenient about people using the pad for trail purposes. Please be very respectful so that they don't have to start getting tougher.
