This trail is used to access to lower end of Albion (aka Coleys) Track. The single track is accessed on the left down the hill from Blackwood township on Martin Street Its located almost down at the river. Cross the Lerderderg. Note you will only be able to access here when the river is low (which is most of the time). Work your way around the track and you will reach an extremely steep push up section which you will have to walk but it gives you a stack of altitude quickly. It quickly turns into a fire road which you can then use to access Albos Grunter or head up Albion Track. If you look in the bush to the left of the track just before the push up section, there is a large homestead fireplace from the gold rush era.
