Originally equestrian trails, now rarely used and sometimes hard to follow when they cross cut blocks which were logged around 2010 (use Trailforks to stay on route). Very scenic with views of Mt. Tecumseh, Crowsnest, Seven Sisters, Highrock Range, Chinook Lake, and the canyon of Allison Creek near the waterfall.

Access Info

Option 1: From the parking area beside Chinook Lake at Chinook Lake Campground, take the trail around the east side of the lake and over the dam. Past the dam, follow the trail down the creek for 240 m. The Upland trail branches off to the left at the base of the ridge between Allison Creek and Chinook Lake.
Option 2: From the parking lot at the Allison Fish Hatchery, go north 1.1 km on the old road to the Chinook Lake dam (Rainbow Run on the ski trail maps). The Upland Trail branches off to the right at the base of the ridge between Allison Creek and Chinook Lake.

This trail is unsanctioned, use at your own risk!
