Off the road, into a wet section with a rock bridge to navigate (theres a line there) then into the trees for some nice steep corners. Out into the open which can be wet after rain and over a few wooden bridges. Gradient eases at bottom so keep your speed. Ends at an unrideable (I think) ditch/swamp at the fireroad so get off and jump over that.

Definitely runs better in a dry spell but rideable feet up in all conditions.

This trail is unsanctioned, use at your own risk!

The second bridge has been removed, it is just before going back into the trees after crossing the flat marsh. Nothing in its place so just a 3ft gap and drop into the burn.

There’s a tree down about half way down the run. Can squeeze under to the right.

I cleared downed trees there this week. When did you last ride it?

Any ideas who built this. I’m keen to build more. Already looking at possible trails. Might have the bridge at the burn fixed today

Shores up entry with rocks and stones. Found long piece of drainage pipe in the woods. Used it and cut new drain to divert and help drain water away from trail. Trail is riding great due to very dry week.

Nice one Mullen, I done a bit of work to this trail for an hour or so for the first 15m after the road drop off back on the 26th of August, then realized I needed more people or more time to help. Has the potential to be a cracking trail.

I got backpack tool system and a chainsaw, I guess everyone can bring a digging tool/shovel/bucket. The other upper trail needs work too. So much potential.
