The Alton Grange is a 350-acre tract, adjacent to the town of Alton, and is of particular environmental significance as it contains an area of fragile wetlands. The trail system is on higher grounds mostly and is a fairly easy ride. This can be a great training ride, as the main trails are a loop, and there are only a few spots where you need to slow down. The majority of the ride you can go full out race mode, and get some good adrenaline going. Watch out for dog walkers, usually they have the dogs off leash and they can sneak up on you pretty quick, and give you a good scare.
