In the direction of the map routing, you leave Bronson Meadows and climb steeply off the valley bottom. The trail is narrow in this section with a long drop downhill if lose your pedal and tip sideways Lots of grunt climbs to get up to the ridge. After the initial pull, it gets a little bit more manageable as a climb. The upper 1/3 of the trail has spectacular views back down valley as well as the surrounding ridge. This would be a very fun descent riding in the other direction. It is mostly south facing, so the upper end of the trail melts out quicker than the connecting trails.

Access Info

Access is off the Bronson Meadows NRT (155), the Big Creek NRT (44), or from the 226 ATV trail that connects Elsie Lake and Cemetary ridge. There really isn't an easy way to get here, it all involves some sort of larger mountain bike adventure loop.

reporter Trail was brush cut in 2019. We cleared a couple of trees, but otherwise it was clear riding.
