Arbor Hills is a Nature Preserve and gets a lot of traffic into and out of the park. There are several miles of paved trails for bikes, walkers, and runners and includes dirt trails that are off limits to bikes.

The mountain bike single track is relatively short (about 2.3 miles according to my GPS) but has lots of punchy climbs and short downhills. The trail is rated as intermediate. Multiple laps makes for a good workout and the facility has easy access to public restrooms, water, and kids playground. There are some short rock gardens to make things interesting. The single track never seems overly crowded but the park itself is heavily used.

Access Info

From the parking lot head west and stay left of the restrooms and playground. A short ride on the paved trail and the trail head appears on left behind the restrooms.

Still dry, even with recent rains. A couple branches to watch out for that might smack you in the face! Otherwise pretty clear!

DORBA.org maintains the single track and posts openings and closings of the trial on their website. The trail takes awhile to dry after significant rainfall. The Katy Jackson trail is nearby and may be an alternative if you arrive and Arbor Hills is closed. DORBA also maintains Kay Jackson.
