Good trail. Fun with some challenges. Only went in 5.5 miles. Most was rideable. Some loose areas, but not too bad.

Overall the trail is lose, not too techonical. Might have to hike a bike in some areas. Arms got pretty scratched up. Some area's are overgrown...

Cat claw vegetation a painful factor throughout ride. Worst during the first 10 miles out of Picketpost. Not much erosion damage to note.

The trail is quite wet in spots. A large Saguaro is down across the trail at the 6.2 mile mark.

Take the average ride time (I saw 4:53) as wildly optimistic. Budget 6-8 hours. This ride really stretches much water you need to carry. Full Camelbaks and bottles were not enough. Seriously consider filtering water out of the Gila River at mile 21 as the last 16 miles take longer than you think.
