The third official trail of the mountain bike Freiburg ebbed nicely along the back from the Kohlerau to Sohlacker saddle. He loses little altitude and there are some short pedaling passages. Stress-free Uphill leads from Sohlacker on the Tannengrundweg, the Kirchlinsgrundweg, the Taubenkopfweg to Kohlerhau and then on Schauinslandweg and Hundsrückenweg to Schauinsland. Please stay on the summit trail and use the broad ramp southeast direction for the summit ascent: https://trailguide.net/3500
A panorama-rich variant, albeit with a higher asphalt content, leads from the Waldhaus Freiburg via Luisenhöhe, Langackern, Horben, Eduardshöhe, Holzschlägermatte (refreshments available), Stollenweg to the Schauinsland, where you also already about 1.5 km after the Holzschlägermatte in the Trail back direction Freiburg can turn: https://trailguide.net/3501
Probably the fastest uphill to the most interesting part of the trail leads from the village Freiburg-Günterstal on the asphalt road towards St. Valentin and then on forest roads to Kohlerhau: https://trailguide.net/3502
