Some seriously gnarly sections of trail with several hike-a-bike sections over and around huge granite boulders. Popular with hikers, so check speed.

This is a Colorado Springs classic. Super fun and challenging. It's hard in places and inexperienced riders will have to 'hike a bike'. lots of hikers, weekdays are better.

Do not underestimate the hike-a-bike at the top! The first mile and a half you are off your bike on some very difficult rock scrambles. Only people who are very comfortable with exposure and tricky hike-a-bike should attempt this trail. Once below tree line, there is some true double black diamond rock garden for the another mile, then the trail starts to mellow out into a more blue/black descent for the rest. Check your speed! There are some difficult drops and moves you have to make that can come up very fast, even further down the trail. Truly amazing ride if you're ready for it!
