Basin Creek trail climb takes you through beautiful forests and meadows on your way to Burton Park junction. This is a shared trail with ATVs but the traffic is usually light

Access Info

From Butte, head straight south on Harrison Ave. When you reach the Hiway 2 junction to go either to Nine Mile or the Industrial Park, choose the right fork. Follow Basin Creek Road all the way out to the Basin Creek Reservoir parking lot. The trailhead is at the parking lot
