Beautiful trail with some good speed, but pack your pedaling legs even if you ride it from Off the Top. From Off the Top, if you continue straight onto Beach Cruiser, you cut off most of the climbing. Once you cross Kamikaze you take Shortcut back to Beach Cruiser. There is one awkward climb right after making a near U-turn off of Shortcut and it is all pumice. You need to keep speed to make this hill without too much pedaling. There is one more climb required, but the rest of the climbs can be conquered with momentum.

The long way, make a U-turn after leaving Off the Top, has more climbing and you go around Red's Lake which is fun to see once or twice. This is a great workout.
