This non motorized single track trail connects the Bear Valley Trail with the Allison Creek Trail at the Lemhi Range summit. It is difficult to find and not well marked. There are rock cairns in the wet meadows and old blazes in the trees but are hard to follow. It will definitely be a push going up in many areas and is probably better hiking than biking. In case you are at Bear Valley Lake and want to look over on the west side of the Lemhi Range, this is how to get there. The top of the trail reaches over 10,000 feet so snow remains well into the summer, and the meadows will be wet until fall.
Access via the Bear Valley Creek Trail.
