Beartrack (234) Details
This non-motorized single track trail is a connector between the 300 Road in Moose Creek and the Napias-Moose Divide Jeep Road 148. The trail goes through heavy lodge pole pine and spruce/subalpine fir forest. There is evidence of old gold mining activity from around 1900 or earlier along the trail in the form of ditches, sluicing, digging, etc. Mortality in the lodge pole pine may result in downfall across the trail if it hasn't been cleared recently. Portions of the trail will be wet early in the season. Crossing Moose Creek on the lower end of the trail may also be challenging early in the season due to high water. This trail may be combined with others in the area for longer rides or loops.
The trailheads are not marked or signed on either end.
