Excellent stretch of DH. Most riders shuttle from the hairpin up to Loafer Mountain Trail head on the Nebo Loop. Great way to end a long ride around Black Hawk. The trail is really not that difficult, in fact I would say it is mostly intermediate riding. There are just some sections of rooty drops and a rocky drop that can take a beginning rider by surprise. The roots are fun cause you can double them up, or even triple.

Fun Downhill ride. personally Don't feel that it is double black diamond difficulty, feels more like a single black. Mainly for the sudden dropoffs and a few rock sections. Not really any significant jumps but overall a very fun ride.

Rode this june 10th 2017. Very fun, very beautiful. There was no snow, but a couple of wet spots, nothing bad. Start from Blackhawk for a more full day of downhill riding.
