Scenic section of Big Creek trail, with numerous mud holes and bog sections. While these dry up to some degree in the summer, you will put a lot of effort per km on this trail. Grant Creek crossing can be adventurous, and a short hill to Teko Lake provides good views and a fun decent. The air field near the north end was historically used by the Gang Ranch for emergency landings. Today, it offers a cowboy finish (if riding downstream) to a trail that defines wilderness riding, complete with a splashy finish in Big Creek.
As with all BC Parks trails, ride this trail with caution and be ready to dismount for horses and give way to hikers or other riders.

NOTE: At the request of Parks, please do not post times to the leader board for this or any Parks trail. Respect this wish and help ensure the experience of riding in the South Chilcotins will be available for years to come.
