A lovely 3 miles of singletrack from the Desoto Park in Ellaville that parallels the Withlacoochee up to the SR 141 bridge across the river. Turn around and head back for a nice 6 mile ride. Or ride another 2.5 miles on the roads to Seven Sisters Boat Ramp and the Big Oak Main Loop for another 6.5 miles of great singletrack. SW 74th can be quite sandy in the beginning, but the rest of the road is hard packed.

The Florida Trail also follows this trail along the west side of the Withlacoochee.

Access Info

The simplest access is to park near the Ag Station on US 90 in Ellaville, and ride the old bridge across the Suwannee to DeSoto Park. At the end of the parking lot is the beginning of the singletrack that parallels the Withlacoochee.
