This is the lower part of the walkers access path up to Irishman's Loch and over to Glen Dochart. Currently it's a fairly regular trail with a good rocky section mid-way down. Once the Balquhidder Trail Squad get more time some extra features may appear!

Access Info

Ride up the forestry roads from Balquhidder to the head of Kirkton Glen, where you'll see a sign indicating the end of the trail. It's a push up the trail, but hot horrendous. Whilst you can keep pushing right up to Irishman's loch it can be pretty boggy up there in anything other than mid-summer, so best start your downhill descent on the Bigfoot - Lower when you reach the style and fence.
