BioChar is the main climbing trail for Northslope and is meant to provide riders the option of going to, DNR, Low Key, Bones, or LTD/Scoby. It's meant to be direct but not a total blowout and keep you off the shuttle road as much as possible. If you like to earn your laps but are sick of getting dusted by shuttle rigs and bro dozers then Jimbo made this trail for you. It heads up through some really nice forest that will provide a cool climb come summer. It starts right at the exit of DNR and finishes out on a old road grade just below road A5200 which is closed to vehicles. Keep following the road A5200 uphill and you will see will DNR trail on your left.

Options: To get to the top of DNR keep heading up A5200 until you get to the yellow gate, which is near the top of the shuttle road (A5000). Take a left and keep heading uphill to see the start of DNR. Head over to Low Key if you like.

To get to Lower Bones take a left on Loki moto and head over.

To get to LTD or Scoby take ORV Tie trail to A5000 then pedal a short uphill to those trails.

This trail is a GRIND! But it’s in great condition and the perfect option to get up top if you can’t shuttle.
