Black Forest Details
This is a local's favorite! It's high on the mtn, and no easy way to get there, so it's not used at all by the tourists. Local's love it! There are trees and stumps to wind through, a pedal strike could be bad here!
The first 1/4 of the trail is a climb. It's a fun challenge to make this without dabbing. Switchbacks are tight and loose.
The last 1/3 is extremely steep (DOWN), but there are no drops to worry about. Just turns on a 100% grade (45 degree pitch)! This section can be sketchy in the Fall with wet leaves and ice/snow.
