On the main climb of Stromlo, Cockatoo Switchbacks deposits riders onto a firetrail that climbs and then descends leading you straight into Blue Gums at speed. Part way through, riders can turn right onto Cardiac Arrest, the 2009 World XCO Championships climb with a double-black rating, or continue straight ahead for more green rated climbing.
