Boat Burner leaves the Starry Goat Trail #154 approximately 0.2 miles below the first entry point that is accessed via the bermed road. Trail descends 0.3 miles and crosses a road, continue downhill for another mile on a fast and rowdy descent with bermed corners and sniper hits. This trail is mostly intermediate but consists of some high speed strait-aways, S corners, and quick direction changes. The descent ends at FS Road #4476 and near the exit of a new trail called T-Party. Take a right on this road and climb for 0.3 miles. This will bring you to your decision point. You can take a right and follow Boat Burner up an arduous granny-gear climb for 1 mile, at which point you will crest the ridge and begin the 1 mile long decent back down toward Three Mile creek and the Starry Goat Trail. The other option is to take a left on the "T-Party" loop which is connected but not completely finished. These trails are all machine built by the Forest Service in collaboration with the local MTB club "Kootenai Mountain RIders". Trail Numbers will be coming soon.
