This trail will get you from the Base Lodge to the pond. You can get to the trail from the Base Lodge by going through a tunnel that goes under Glades Drive. This is an easy trail to use UNLESS you are on xc skies. If your a skiing it, going down hill, you will find it extremely challenging as it is fast, chewed up by hikers and snowshoers, very narrow so no room to maneuver, and not wide enough to form a snowplow to slow yourself down. Only very experienced skiers should attempt it, the rest should walk the short distance to the pond.

Complete coverage with a trace of new snow on top of old. Even though the trail is snow covered, it's pretty chewed up by hikers and snowshoers...
