One of the more advanced trails in the area. Be ready for multiple 3-4 ft drops and lots of fast chunky rock. Trail starts off fast and flowy and then gets steep and tight. All drops have a go around.

Access Info

Fastest way to the start is to take Bunny to Fossil to the top. Take the 2 track to the left and follow up to Scar. Go left and it will run into Boneshaker.

It was so windy, but the grip was exceptional. Wind didn't start until I was near the top, unfortunately. So I just had to deal with the gusts.

This trail is fantastic. Tons of flow and extremely fast sections with medium sized drops and tech features. 10/10

I concur with keeqan! So good despite getting a slow leak and having to nurse the bottom section. Top is super fast with fun little ledge drops and then bottom gets a bit tighter and more technical.

My favorite trail in the cowboy network for pure fun, speed and drops. I liked this trail a bit better than Bomb Voyage. Trail starts out a bit mellow then gets harder as you make your way down. I did this as part of a loop climbing up Bunny to Fossil Canyon to SARS to Radio Tower to Bone Shaker. Fun challenging climb with some cool obstacles to clean. I posted a video on Trail Forks showing the trail, Video Titled - Bone Shaker | Cowboy Trails | Las Vegas, NV

Top is really fun and slowly ramps from blue to black diamond before finally getting into more serious terrain. Fun, but has too many double black features if you’re an intermediate rider like myself. Many features are reasonable if you scout them.

Good flow at top and as you going down gets progressively thecnical and steeper, fun yet loose rocks on corners will make you ride on your toes.
