Connector from the double track to Bonneville Shoreline Trail and Squaw Peak Downhill. In the uphill direction this is a strenuous climb with a tricky rock garden section 50 yards after leaving the double track. The trail surface alternates between loose rocks and trenched dirt through tight scrub oak. There are some stray paths around here, so follow this path and any signs. In the middle, the original trail goes over a hill, but the better route goes around the hill; not sure which is currently official.
