The iconic trail of the area has unique characteristics in the entire Apennines. It runs along the crest at the top of the wall of Monte Torricella, where the feeling of emptiness accompanies you throughout the route. A short initial steep section immediately makes you understand the nature of the trail that continues with an alternation of exposed sections a short distance from the edge of the wall (always be very careful!) to others in the woods, less adrenaline-filled, but still technical. The passage of the calanco, in a lunar environment, is unforgettable. The last part in the woods is more relaxing, but the tight curves require a good ability to read and anticipate to be done quickly. Overall, a trail without compromises, a unique experience absolutely to be lived (provided you have the right technical level).
