The Boundary Trail begins at the entrance to the Kula Forest Reserve at the end of Waipoli Road. From this entrance the trail descends 2,000 feet over 4.4 miles. The trail is not well maintained and suffers from wild pig damage, forest debris/branches and blackberries. Some technical sections and hike a bikes. The trail ends at the bottom of the Forest Reserve and returning to the Access Road can be accomplished by ascending the Redwood trail to the Poli Poli Springs campground or ascending the Boundary Trail.
