Short But Steep going to be some Hike-A-Bike. Super Technical Steep Back down to trail head after you have made it up. The leading to crestline was not in good shape for me hard to find after you leave the west side of the lake. Follow the drainage leading north west once it intersects with crestline the sign is missing. From the ridge top to box lake is rocky and steep with switchbacks. Great camp site on the south end of the lake late summer it will have a sandy beach. Early summer the last part before the lake can be snowy. I wouldn’t recommend riding on after the south end of the lake towards crestline unless you know they have cleared it this is a old burn area and can have lots of trees down. Beautiful lake one I enjoy hiking people into.
