Seguire dapprima la traccia su fondo valle delimitata da paline, in direzione Sud-Est. La pendenza dapprima leggera si fa progressivamente più accentuata. Negli ultimi tratti la traccia si inerpica con un paio di svolte e risulta particolarmente faticosa. Se le condizioni della neve non sono più che buone è impossibile pedalare l'ultimo tratto in salita. La discesa è invece divertente. Da intraprendere solo con rifugio Branca aperto, dopo essersi accertati che sia passato il gatto delle nevi.
