Mostly dry, with extended sections of sloppy mud in shady and drainage areas. Once you rise out of the gulch, it dries out quickly.

 The trail is pretty fun. Nothing too crazy except one area with tons of large rocks. Could see how that area would cause some issues. Just noting, it seems most people go up this. It is much more fun going down. So, if going down - be ready to have to slow down in some of the blind corners/turns.
