The Burnt Fork trail descends from the Reservation Divide back down to the Ninemile Valley. It descends a long way over a short distance with only a few rocky spots near the top. It does have large logs placed across the trail at regular intervals as waterbars which will slow you down.

Access Info

From the Beginning of the reservation divide trail at the top of McCormack creek road it is 12mi to the top of the Burnt fork trail. To reach the bottom, drive up ninemile road. 11mi after the left turn and end of pavement, go right at the junction onto forest road 5498 for another 5mi to the trailhead

       Has anybody ridden up this? I’m curious about an out and back up burnt fork and onto the reservation divide to a high point and then back
