Year Opened2013
The Burnt Rock trail avoids the exposure of the Canyon Trail. It snakes its way up after ripping down the Backside giving those faint of heart the ability to get the same view points but without the side hill exposure.
The trail is sandy in spots and is prone to dirtbikers chewing it up.
Access Info
After riding down the Backside, through Crop Circles (exact matching sized back to back off camber turns) up and over the spine and past the road. You will have popped up into a pasture of sorts. The trail will continue straight ahead into the Canyon Trail, but you want to turn left and pedal up the hill. It will merge back on with the Canyon trail once the exposure is finished.
