Big climb from Arrowtown to saddle with some very steep sections. Great downhill too. Also can be accessed from Coronet Peak via the XC track and Slip Saddle track. Remember to give way to walkers at all times.

Quite tough as a climb! Would be grade 4 for me. Fair bit of walking up turns

Bridge #4 has been repaired and wet sections cleared out, together with a repair to the blown-out bank down at the Arrowtown end. Trail is riding great again!

All river crossings either bridged or re-routed so your feet stay dry! A lot more user friendly ride now. Up or down. Just be aware of walkers ride especially near the bottom.

Ridden this twice in the last 3 days to get back to Arrowtown and it's great. Pedally if you want to hold a good speed, but still a ton of fun. New trail work to make the creek crossings etc easier is half done at time of writing but all the work that has been done so far is fantastic. Once finished it'll feel completely different to the 'old' version and will appeal to far more riders and be a great way to finish the day heading back in to Arrowtown.
I currently recommend wearing overshoes to keep your feet dry, but once the work is done it'll be great for pretty much anyone.

Lives up to the name. Wet feet and whipped arms. Great fun downhill from water race. Not sure how much fun it would be to climb

This trail was made with pure spite. Beautiful landscape accessed via bog, river crossings, mud , and decaying vegetation. Made for those who hate fun, Christmas, and children.

Lots of river crossings but they provide some tech to a beautiful ride! Really cool and good fun if you have two cars or a lift to get back up to the top near skippers.

At least 20 stream crossings will defintely make you wet and ruin your flow. Grass was pretty overgrown in some places too. Nice views but not recommended with bike, 1/5 stars.
