For bikers, this is a shared use trail with walkers so ride within sight lines and pull over for walkers. The trail does have some large drop offs to the side so should be done by experienced riders only. There is a mine adit which comes out on the trail towards the western end and the walk down to the Tunnel is worthwhile. The Tunnel is a large tunnel used to divert the river in the gold mining days.

      A sunny, bright and cool day. Slightly damp trail in the shaded areas but good tyre grip. Lots of leaf coverage. A few walkers. A good ride
