The northwestern half of this trail follows a ridge with incredible views of the Hilgards and the southeastern half traverses below Sage Peak and Skyline Ridge. There’s lots of variety here, smooth fast sections, big compression jumps, rock gardens, mud holes. Do not attempt until July 14 after the dirt bikers clear the deadfall, maybe wait until August for the mud holes to dry out. This is your connector between Taylor Fork and Hebgen Lake.
