An old 4WD road (now non-motorized inside a wilderness area) used for timber cutting along the top of Canaan Mountain. Passes through mile after mile of gorgeous Navajo Sandstone scenery, just like Zion but without the crowds. Near the end is the ruin of a windlass used to lower timber down the cliff. The trail crosses slickrock in several places, making it sometimes difficult to follow.
