The trail follows a 4WD access road for parks before turning into single track then following a made bike path along the lakeside. The trail is not maintained and can be covered in bark, branches, and sometimes fallen trees. There are lots of exposed roots and sharp rocks most which can be easily avoided. Hikers also use the trail so please slow down near them. The ride ends at the local Bakery for coffee and can be looped along the Mallacoota-Genoa Road. It's a great family ride as the trail follows the lake with great views and lots of wildlife. It is popular during school holidays, Christmas and Easter so ride early if you want a clear track.

Access Info

The trailhead is easily accessed and well sign posted about 400 metres North along the Mallacoota-Genoa Road from the Karbeethong Road interesection.

Great trail. Track is covered in bark so no mud. Watch out for small stocks flicking up. Lots of wildlife and track dig up from Lyre birds.
