(Advanced trail, a little harder than Windmill or Transient)
Tight swoopy track that increases difficulty with speed. Lots of weaving. Gets very messy when wet.

Does anybody know what happened to the bike sculpture half way down, that was installed when the track had a facelift in May 2022? It seems to have disappeared now :-(

Yep, the council got us to remove it as we had not followed the correct process (applying to the sculpture review panel). We ended up sending through an application but it was declined. The sculpture is now back with the sculptor.

Thank you for the update :-) I'm glad that at least it hasn't been stolen, which was my first thought, and also that I managed to get some pics of it when I first saw it.

Yeah I think there'd have been a bit of fuss on our end if it had been stolen!

Strange trail - definitely the easier side of intermediate. Not much technicality and some pedally uphill sections.

Carparts is one of the more adrenaline-filled trails in the area. There are only one or two features that I would consider tricky (there's a 270 degree turn that is almost needlessly rocky), with most of it being pretty flowy and not too steep. The difficulty comes with speed -- if you carry too much then you will scuff an upcoming blind corner into a real disaster. So take this track slowly at first and work your way up as you learn it.
Don't ride it when it's muddy, it's just too sketchy.

Nice flow, a bit narrow in places and sometimes it feels like you're going to hit your head on a low branch or angled tree trunk. Look out for the reason for the name near the bottom...

I've changed the rating to intermediate. I'm pretty sure it used to be advanced with the WCC, but they have it as intermediate now. It is less sketchy than it was pre-windmill.

I'd call it a blue at best. Speed is not a factor when rating a track.

As said by Gristle, This trail is a bit above Intermediate but not expert (Advance) needs to be distinguished
