Land Manager
Double track south of Carbondale River. Designated by Castle Provincial Park as Hiking/Biking/Equestrian (i.e. non-motorized). A big hill near the east end is steep, but slightly easier going up on the east side, so the trail is best ridden from east to west. Can be combined with the Carbondale Road north of the river for a loop. Gardiner Creek near the midpoint of the trail is too deep and fast to cross at high water levels.
Access Info
East end: O'Hagen Road. West end: trail to North Kootenay Pass which is an extension of the Carbondale River Road.
