It's good, but stay off the lichen or we'll lose access to this gem of a trail.

Please do not ride off-trail to avoid ice, snow, or mud. Doing so widens the trail over time and jeopardizes our access to this environmentally...

It's absolutely essential that people stay on the trail and not ride on top of lichen if we are to keep access to this gem.

If you encounter someone going the opposite direction and their isn't enough room for the both of you to pass on the trail, STOP and lean your bike away from the trail to allow the other person to pass. DO NOT ride off-trail on top of the vegetation.

Trail width is being measured every year and photos are taken to document the width of the trail and vegetation loss. If people don't smarten up, we will lose access.

Very fun ride with some nice rock ribbons and a huge optional roll about halfway through the trail. A must ride if you live near the Ottawa area. Can be ridden both ways but personally east to west is the best and avoids some difficult climbing sequences.
