Land Owner
Multi-use and mixed terrain loop located in the Appomattox-Buckingham State Forest. Well-signed and marked with red metal blazes. Good for beginner to intermediate riders. Terrain includes everything from dense woods to open fields; trail includes some single-track, grassy areas, double-track/gravel roads and even a few short segments on pavement. There are three small creek crossings, the largest/deepest of which has rocks which you can walk over if you don't want to ride or wade through. Climbs are fairly short and punchy, but may be moderately difficult in a couple of places for the very young or out-of-shape rider. Use caution/wear blaze during hunting season. Trail connects to various other trails and access roads throughout. Lots of places where you can bailout onto a road if necessary.
